Cy Creek has me surprised too in District 17

Cy Creek is having one of their most successful seasons in school history and are surprisingly in second place with a 6-1 record in the toughest district in the area. Sophomore Jessica Munoz is playing a large role in that by averaging over 13 ppg as she and senior Darianne Williams account for around 60% of the teams points

Four point losses to both Klein Forest and Seven Lakes as well as a couple to district leader Cy Fair sort of give you a clue about this teams 18-6 record which also includes a second loss to Klein Forest and one to Klein Collins.

Among the big wins, district rival Langham Creek fell to the Cougars but their destiny is in their hands as they play four teams fighting for a playoff spot over their next five games starting with Cy Ranch on tomorrow
