Bonds Record Shattered

I've received confirmation on number 74, that's coming tomorrow along with a look at some of the UTR players throughout the week like College Park and Dynasty post/wing Emma Hughes

Exposure From Girlz Prep Report

It amazes me the mindset of some people so let me be perfectly clear and straight to the point. Girlz Prep Report will be covering a certain amount of events so if your club coach or director feels that going out of town during an event I'm covering or having their teams play in an event with over 1500 players and have 10 to 20 mentioned on a national website or even playing on the circuit get's the job done, roll the dice and do the math. This season alone the Houston area has over 70 players that will be playing at the next level from the 2012 class, so next level players are everywhere in all shape, sizes and skill levels. I have personally had a hand in several of these young ladies, double digits to be exact, make connections they probably wouldn't have had with colleges because again, no one does like the GPR.

Meagan Zarzour

I'm still writing about players from the Alodia Prime Time Rising Stars Showcase and even though everyone isn't a star, there is next level potential from players like Meagan Zarzour everywhere, which is the most important thing. Hopefully this clears things up, no need to write or text me on who needs love or pub, the top players in the area are already in my scouting service but these are the guidelines for club ball. The next event I'm covering will be the Houston Insiders Basketball Classic which will be May 18th-20th, click on the link for more info

Texas Warriors About To Explode

KAYLA MACK

The title might just be an understatement but in keeping it real like I like to do, I've been watching these young ladies  for quite some time, many since middle school. Kayla Mack is one of those players as well as Logan Cagers that I caught a glimpse of what to expected to see in the future and I haven't been disappointed

LOGAN CAGERS

The Texas Warriors have several talented players all through their program with young players coming up like Diedre Dobbins who is still in middle school but has a lot of upside ahead of her. In fact, another player I saw in middle school I thought had a lot of upside was Kimi Carter who stepped into the starting line-up at Barbers Hill as a freshman and helped them make it to state

These young ladies performed extremely well at the Alodia Prime Time Rising Stars Showcase and to read more, click on the link

TEXAS WARRIORS BATTLE CONTINUES

Fort Bend Stars Duo Push Total To 73

ALEX BURROUGHS

On a day when GPR introduces 8yr old Aleighyah Fontenot as one of stars of the future for the Fort Bend Stars, it's only fitting that two of their stars of the past get mentioned as well. Alex Burroughs of Episcopal has decided Le Tourneau is the right fit for her to continue her career while Paige Marquez from Clements will continue her career at St Catherines, both were named All District for their respective schools

PAIGE MARQUEZ

One Of Fort Bend Stars Of The Future

It's hard to believe how time flies, well maybe it's not because I say it all of the time but I recall the first time I met Donna and Art Fontenot was when my daughter was in the seventh grade and their son was a baby. Now their baby girl, Aleighyah, is showing a lot of promise with the Fort Bend Stars and being coached by her parents, she will get the necessary tools and at 8 years she has a bright future ahead.

Area Signees Up To 71

KATIE GOWDY

Kingwood Park and Alodia Eclipse All District star Katie Gowdy will be playing for Austin College while Kirston Lee who played for Homeschool CHSA signed earlier for St Thomas. Lee was a Home School All American two years in a row. Now standing at 71, Bonds record will go down!!!!

St Pius Stars Signing Sets Area Record

Brittany Stepanski has been the glue for St Pius for a long time and that glue had them quite close to state championship this season. This All District post has decided Austin College will be her next stop and I'm sure she will do well there. Stepanki's signing makes the total for the area 69 which I know is a record for sure, in fact Barry Bonds record of 73 is about to go down as well

Clear Lake Duo Raises Total To 68

TORIE SUTHERLAND

Torie Sutherland and Alex Kochner have been difference makers since they arrived at Clear Lake and both of these All District performers will be doing the same thing at the next level, Sutherland (Coast Guard) and Kochmer (Henderson State). I want to thank everyone for the extra help, this stuff takes an enormous amount of time and I truly appreciate the emails and calls to let me know who is heading where. This assures the area record for next level players will be broken, I don't remember what the exact number for the 2005 class was but it wasn't 70

Cinco Ranch Star Makes It 66

Christy Williams was a pleasant surprise for the Cinco Ranch Cougars this season. Her high energy level created some havoc for Cinco's opponents which led to the Ranch pulling off some victories many would consider upsets. The All District guard will continue to create problems for defenders at St. Thomas

Waller's Houle Makes It 65

#50 BRITTANT HOULE

Waller post Brittany Houle from Alodia Eclipse has decided on where she will play at the next level and that's Concordia in Austin. The All District Houle was Waller's leading scorer and rebounder this season.

New Look On GPR Front Page Coming

CAROL WILLIE

Everyone in the area should know Christin Inman and AJ Alix are the two best players in the 2013 class, Carol Willie is one of the best posts and Dominique Dillingham has to be one of the hardest workers on both ends of the court, same thing for 2014 with Brianna Turner and Brooke McCarty separating themselves from everyone else, it's a science but not rocket science. As the area appears to be on the verge of having 70 or more next level players, I think I'll start listing the 10 players I feel who are under the radar for the incoming junior and senior classes each season. I'll also be adding a middle school "Watch List" to go along with the "GPR Rising Stars" for the freshmen and sophomore classes.
