A coached asked me today if I was going to do an all GPR team based on players I had seen this summer and although I hadn't thought of it, it's a great idea. Without a doubt, Shakayla Thomas would be on that list as she is one of many talented players on the Alabama Southern Starz, who btw won AAU Nationals
Another player I'm all too familiar with is Blair Shafer, a young lady I've been knowing almost, well forever. Blair's dad wasthe defensive genius at Texas A&M when my daughter played and is now the head coach at Mississippi State, Blair will be doing some damage there shortly.
