White helps raise Mercury at College Prep Showdown

Harley White was a young energetic kid I met when my daughter was a freshman at Texas A&M and I soon had a chance to watch her play as well. Over the years, like her size, her game has grown and on day one, she closed everything out with a three which tells me she's continued to add things over the years, well she could always hit the long ball

Her Texas Express Mercury competed well and when you breakdown the players, it's easy to understand. Peyton Hurst handled the ball well under pressure and finished strong several times while Nicole Ellis showed she could do that along with knocking down the midrange

Jazman Shields played some strong D while Annie Lenore knocked down the three with ease. Kelsey Potter had several highlight plays including one in which she rebounded and weaved through several defenders to go C2C for a lay-up
