Texas Preps Elite roll in big way

Jovita Cortez is still a little rough around the edges however at 6'4 that means absolutely nothing and when you throw in the fact that shes only a 2016, oh my, oh my. Cortez was virtually unstoppable on day one in the two games I saw TPE as she knows how to keep the ball, high and finished over and over

No matter how big or good your posts are, you have got to have guards and if you don't where the game starts, it does and always will start at the one and TPE had multiple players that could fill that role. I watched Tyesha Brown's sister, Tierra, dominate in the paint for years before moving to the next level and younger sister was bringing it throughout the event, especially on day two when she was in a zone on offense at the College Prep Challenge

Kayla Thompson brings so much energy and her teammates fed off it throughout the event as they just brought the heat game after game. Brianna Thomas, Khi Cooper,Alexis Jones, Jasmine King, Bailey Trevino or Alexis Sandoval have been impressive, either earlier in Houston or in this tournament as well but it just didn't seem to matter what combination was in this weekend, they all worked as TPE cruised through day one.
