Seven Lakes in drivers seat for District 19 however #conocophillipsclassic

This picture sort of sums it up as the offense for the Seven Lakes Spartans definitely roll through Michelle Fokum and Cydney Varner. Fokum, although somewhat undersized, is relentless in the paint while Varner pull-up is a work of art and something she keeps taking to another level, Bailey Brown was solid as well as Emily Townsend while Julia Bannister made her presence felt in the paint plus freshman Brooke Bigott doesn't create a drop-off when she comes in a she's poised and under control

Cinco Ranch pulled off a shocker by finishing 3rd in the Katy Classic or did they? Kelly Lynch and Corin Evans both are capable scorers and each have put up numbers all through the season. Valerie Chastain is a long ball threat while Gracie Carrasco simply made plays. Kaija Blake and Emilee Hatfield were more than productive when they came in and when you factor in Lynch and Blake are the only seniors, the Cougars will be in the hunt next season as well

Katy Taylor split with Seven Lakes last season if memory serves correct and I don't know if they have enough firepower to do it again this season but then again these first three teams will be in the hunt for the district title. Make no bones about it, the offense starts primarily with Samantha Roach and Kyana Hatfield-Mills however yet another talented player from the Ray family, freshman Macy, has already shown she's one of the tops in the state and it didn't take me long to figure that one out

The final spot should come down to Katy and Tompkins who have to finish the season without star 6'2 player Brittany Panetti however Allison Goss and Kendall Rollins can and have put up barrels of baskets over the years I've been watching. Katy with yet another of the states top freshmen in Laura Rowe have a young lady I've seen simply dominate offensively during the summer. Ashley Nguyen pushes the ball at the one to find a variety of weapons or she just shows her NBA range which adds more strength to Tigers offense. The first three are locks but I think Seven is the lucky number
