Georgetown aided by Walla's will to win

I always have various little saying love to use and I Kaitlin Walla's case, "you can't teach heart" would seem to apply over and over again. Big buckets down the stretch in a two point win against Barbers Hill, taking the game over against Tomball in the regional final to going completely off in the final quarter for the all the marbles against Lincoln in their 65-60 victory for the State Championship 4A Title.

How did she go off? She scored 11 of her 26 points in that final period including the go ahead bucket with under two minutes remaining, which gave them the lead for good. Not only was she named to the all tournament team, she was the MVP. Whether she was playing in the summer for Austin Elite or in high school, I've always enjoyed watching this young lady and I'm sure Texas State can't wait to get her suited up where I'll continue to watch her "will to win" in full effect
