Southland Conference Tourney Day 2

I mentioned in yesterday's story that the three Baggett sisters all scored in double digits for McNeese State as they defeated Northwestern State. The Cowgirls almost had a fourth player join them as Cecilia Okoye scored 9 points, in fact Okoye almost had a double double as she added 9 rebounds. No. 5 seeded McNeese State play No. 4 seed Nichols State at 11am today

I also mentioned yesterday that  Stephen F Austin Porsha Roberts and Tierany Henderson put up some numbers against Central Arkansas in their win, as well as reserves Ashlee Mells and Annette Davis playing huge, Mells back to back threes and Davis with back to back field goals to go along with her 8 rebounds, Antionette Carter came up huge as well scoring 8 points in 16 minutes. The No. 7 seed Ladyjacks play No.3 seed Lamar at 1:30

Both games are at the Merrell Center in Katy
