They have an old saying. "numbers don't lie" and I have an amendment to that saying "sometimes they do" but in the case of Marissa Banfield, the only saying that needs to be applied is my favorite, "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against" and after watching this young lady at 10, there was no doubt she would be playing college ball, the question was at what level. Each year since, she's elevated her game and her status and although she can score, she's one of the best in the state at setting her teammates up for gimmes and when the game starts at the one, it's good to have one that truly understands the game and MB is an MD at doing this
