Arlington Swoosh capture JV Division title

Another group of 2017's are about to be added to the GPR Watch List or actual rankings as the Arlington Swoosh put together a very impressive run on their way to winning the JV Division of Team Ichiban's Memorial Weekend Showdown.

Their game against Texas Prep Elite 2017 had me counting double digit players between the squads with not only next level, but D1 potential between them. Swoosh a little bit of everything, Jill Faclane can handle the paint, Haleigh Talbert is one of many who can shoot the three and Jary Ward's athleticism is through the roof

I don't like doing comparisons but Chennedy Carter's ball handling reminded me somewhat of my own daughters back in the day and I'll come back to her to the Tip Sheet. but here's a tip right now. Lauren Bowie elevates with the best of them right now, she's explosive and can finish. Kayla Wells is another natural athlete that not only sees the floor well but can rebound on both ends and her ability to go coast to coast is second to none. Alesa Gerald has great handles and she knows how to get to the basket. She's also on the verge of mastering one of the most difficult shots there is, the floater and once she does.......

Daria Williams showed she could play multiple positions at the guard spot but even more importantly her ability to play defense has her ahead of the game. Speaking of defense, Kamaya Miller is a shot block waiting to happen and her rebounding ability was huge during the tournament. This is a solid team from top to bottom and I'll have a better feel for everyone the next time I see them play
