As a freshman, Kimi Carter played a major role in helping Barbers Hill get to state and this season, despite losing two high profiled area players, she almost helped them get back to the area F4, they lost to eventual state champ Georgetown in the playoffs by a couple of points.
Carter, along with North Shore stars Kayla Mack and Logan Carger will be suiting up for the Texas Essence this weekend at the Insiders Basketball Classic. All are among the top 2015 players in the area and are tuning up for the next to most important July of their careers
