Tomorrow they face district rival Westside in a battle for first place, Westside coming off a nail biter against Madison winning by one. The teams appear to be at opposite ends of the spectrum as they have been battling for the top spot for the last six or seven years and although Bellaire is clicking and has a chance to get out of here in Coach Mike Kramer's final season, Westside has been hampered by injury after injury to key players all season long
Can Bellaire get out of R3? Well they've knocked off the team that knocked off my preseason number one team twice, so I'm sure they feel like they have as good a shot as anyone else and in a one game playoff, they are absolutely correct but that could be said for a number of other teams as well
