Cardinals fly past Wolves

Bellaire showed what their offense can do once they got going this afternoon and by the time the dust settled, they had defeated Westside 66-44/ Up 17-9 after one, the Cardinals led by 11 at the half and never looked back

AJ Alix showed why I named her "The Real Deal"in middle school as she scored 21 points and added close to 10 assists but what AJ simply does at the one is two things, take a game over whenever she wants, like scoring those 21 points on probably 10 or 11 shots, and make her teammates better, like close to those 10 assists

To Westside's credit, they applied pressure and made mini runs in this game, something they have always been known for but it just wasn't meant to be

Numerous injuries to several of their key players this season have what appeared to be a promising season for the Wolves has taken a somewhat about face. Sentreal Gregory is coming to her own at the point but the Wolves will need Maddisen Turner healthy if they plan on going deep in the playoffs

Jasmine King's hot hand led all Westside scorers with 12 points, while Angel Williams and Lulu McKinney added 12 and 11 respectively for the Cardinals
