Taylor The Terrific

We were playing in a tournament in Dallas a few years ago and my good friend, Pat Evans, was raving about this 8th grader dropping bombs from all over the court. He said"Simmie, she's gonna be a player" Well, Pat's daughter, Kelly, was a pretty good ball player for Stratford herself and Pat has an eye for talent, so my friend, let me give you some props because she is a player. The thing I like most about her is she's added something every year and unlike some kids who can shoot the three at an early age and never expanded their game, Taylor didn't settle for that and has added or enhanced something each season. This comes from hard work, very hard work at that parents and players. I complained about it before and for the road, it's simply a shame the kid hasn't received all she deserves in this city, but the good thing is "She's still got a year and I am here"
