Cy Falls has something a lot of college teams don't have and that's five kids that light it up from NBA range. They also happen to be one of those "what if" teams and last year it was what if they weren't in the same district with eventual State Champion Cy Fair, led by the best player to come out of Houston, Chiney Ogwumike. This season, Cy Falls is still in the same district with Cy Fair who still has Texas bound Cassie Peeples, but their district has also moved to Region 3, which is good and bad, good for them and bad for the region because last season, R-3 was not the R-3 of yesteryear.
I like calling them "The Bomb Squad" because once these kids get going, you are going to see some explosives. Several of them had outstanding summers, including Kit Metoyer who was featured in a Basketball On the Bayou write up by HG, but it doen't stop there. Moore, Robertson, Ellis and sanchez can light it up while Marissa is the force on the inside.
Ellis , like the old folks use to say, is getting her lesson off the court , while she is ready to give lessons on the court
