Turner shows dominance in Manvel victory over North Shore #RoadToAustin

I don't know what Brianna Turner's stat line was but in my head it equates to a triple double and if I'm off, it "ain't" by much as the future Fighting Irish player didn't need any lucky shamrocks. Whether it was rebounding on both ends, blocking shots as if she was swatting flies, or simply too much to handle in the paint, Turner did what big time players do, she stepped up under the bright lights and she seized the opportunity

The Chronicle stats show her with 20 but this wasn't just the BT show as Minnesota signee Rangie Bessard dropped 13 while Jordan Hosey and Keyerra Fisher scored 10 each and even with all of that, it wasn't as easy as you would imagine, well at first. Manvel led North Shore 14-12 after one and when Shae Johnson opened the second quarter with a three to give them a 15-14 lead, I'm thinking they had a shot at the UPSET however Manvel regrouped and led 27-23 at the half

The Mavericks blew this one wide open in the third as they outscored the Mustangs 19-6 but one thing you need to always remember, you don't what's coming in the future or in this case, from "The Future" which is what I called Chasity Patterson in elementary school and throughout the season, she has proved me not only correct but others who were speechless after seeing her for the first time last night.

The Mustangs were down by 17 or 18 and Patterson ignited her teammates and the North Shore fans with back to back threes and when I was ready to go early in the fourth, it appeared the momentum had swung however Turner a chance to go to area semi's as they won 60-41. Turner, is a McDonald's All American and her dominance inn the area will soon be a thing of the past. Patterson has MDAA written all over her and after everyone seeing her performance of 22 points, you'll have ""The Future" for three more years
