The Fort Bend area has consistently produced some of the top female basketball players throughout the area since I've been around, this is also why the Fort Bend District has been one of, if not the toughest districts year after year after year. HK Express has several teams that consist of several players from that area
One of those Express players that continue to impress is Crystal Chidomere from Fort Bend Bush. Look for Crystal to have breakout season next year as she continues to climb up the GPR 2014 rankings which are legitimate
I picked Khayla Mitchell to be a GPR Rising Star three years ago and she continues to be on pace at Foster High as she finished her freshman season averaging close to 10 ppg. Those numbers might not burst out but when you consider Foster has a couple of the areas top 2013 players whose numbers were called much more things fall into perspective
Angela Harris was also picked as a "Rising Star" three years ago and even though she has yet to enter high school she will make her presence felt off the top next season. Coach Vince Win has put together a fantastic group of players from various ages and it's refreshing to see people realize that the grass isn't always greener on the other side but all grass can be greener with the right fertilizer
