I had a chance to watch Pflugerville in the Mansfield Tournament and saw how much of a factor Itiana Taylor was while she was on the floor and if you read what I wrote about the team in the Mansfield Tournament Champions story, I said "If she stays on the floor they have the tools to compete" for the region title. She didn't start the game due to an injury, in fact she didn't come in until the second quarter against Klein Collins who jumped out to a 19-9 lead after one but she finished with a double double, 20 points and 14 rebounds, here's the recap from their site
Now the undefeated Panthers run into a team that could also be undefeated in The Woodlands who have lost a total of two games by 4 points on Tuesday again at A&M Consolidated High School. Like they're game against Klein Collins, defeating The Woodlands won't be easy, especially when you throw 6'4 Kelsey Lang into the mix, and a trip to the Regional Final 4 is at stake.
