2015 combo
guard Dasia Johnson has been on fire during the early July viewing period. This
under the radar guard has performed like one of the top guards in the state.
She's shooting over 60% from bta, I said BTA and she is also using her stop
and pop game to get points in the paint. Johnson is a combo and starts off at shooting guard but
slides seamlessly into point duties where she leads her team from the
front. Her club coach, Fonzell Martin, has been most impressed with her defensive improvement from
March until now and has become a very capable perimeter defender. Can you say total package? I can and here's something else
In Chicago
at the Nike NIT, Dasia hit a pull up 3 in transition that was a thing of beauty
and helped propelled Austin Elite RFW to a victory over ISAA 17. Her shot is pure and her range is steadily
increasing. This DJ can spin the tunes with sweet jumpers through the
nets. I expect the 2nd half of the July
will bring more of same, deadly shooting from this DJ. There are players everywhere and this Hutto
Texas start is being under recruited.
