Desoto has been a pipeline for next level talent on both the boys and girls side since like forever and sometimes when teams lose a key player to the next level, they have to regroup, rebuild or start from scratch. The Eagles lost not one, but two players last season, Jordan Jones (Texas A&M) and Bryce Owens (New Mexico) however they are still a threat
Based on MaxPreps, their two losses have come at the hands of Duncanville and Clear Springs, the two finalists in the Texas Invitational and after watch Desoto in that same TI, they have a lot of talented players that will keep them in the hunt. Adrienne Lewis and Camesha Davis are two of the big reasons they can't be overlooked and I'll get a chance to revisit Desot at the Sandra Meadows Classic
