The Wichita State University women's basketball program signed seven student-athletes for the fall signing period, head coach Jody Adams announced. The class consists of Jamillah Bonner (Butler Community College/Wichita Southeast HS/Wichita, Kan.), Jaleesa Chapel (Dekaney High School/Spring, Texas), Moriah Dapprich (Branson High School/Branson, Mo.), Briana Jones (James Madison High School/San Antonio, Texas), Morgan Landers (Burleson High School/Burleson, Texas), Marissa Preston (Staley High School/Kansas City, Mo.), and Kayla White (East Central High School/San Antonio, Texas).

I've never, in the past few years, seen anyone play on both sides of the ball and leave it out there every possession like she does. In doing that in our system she could be the most decorated junior college player to leave Wichita State in two years. She has phenomenal speed and leaping ability. She is a fighter and has an edge."
