The new preseason rankings are out and once again it amazes me why 5A players aren't separated from the other classes, too much ink I guess. As far as the 5A teams, after the first three it's a toss up and Hightower and Elsik were both hit hard from last years graduating class but both teams have shown me one thing over the years, don't underestimate them because heart will take you a very long way.
Chronicle preseason rankings
It's interesting that the Chronicle has a player who has yet to play a high varsity game listed among the Top 15 but what's really remarkable is the omission of several players that will be signing with potential Top 25 college programs including one of the key players on one of the top three teams from last season and this one as well. This young lady, from Dekaney, will be going to Texas, however after seeing the Houston HYPE Top 50 over the summer which listed players who didn't even play in Houston, one thing is for sure, nothing is as it seems, bonjour !!!!
