Jersey Village adds weapon

Jersey Village's Brynae Thompson established herself as one of the top 2015 players in the area last season and solidified on the circuit it with a solid summer. Jersey Village used to be one of the "teams" back in the days of Coco Reed and Nina Norman and continuing with Tracy Ray and the Isom sisters, Brittanay and Natasha. I'm sure the vast majority of those reading this have no clue to who these players are but all went on to play at the next level, Norman and Read at Texas, the Isom sisters at Northwestern and Ray at NC Charlotte, Norman btw was in the very first girls MDAA game

Christina Roberts (2016) is the younger sister of Brittanay and Natasha and she can be added to the list of 10 year olds that caught my eye and like TJ Jefferson (HBU) she hasn't had the growth spurt I expected however the game has continued to develop and even though JV lost to Katy Taylor 66-53, Roberts dropped 17 as she and Thompson combined for 37, see folks, you learned a little history and there's a simple a math problem, it "ain't" just about basketball

Today Jersey Village takes another step as they enter the heat at the Conroe  Tournament against Tomball and I'm guessing Carissa Diaz one of the top 2014 players in the area, my only guide is Max Preps
