Middle School players continue to blossom at "The Combine"

Nothing pleases me more than seeing the younger players competing again st the older ones and no matter what the outcome is, lessons are learned and the younger leave more times than not with the satisfaction of they were in the hunt and not afraid to be there. Stacy Rios, Taylor Thomas, Terri Abram and Kayleigh Truong have all shown me they could score prior to the Texas Fall Elite Combine and their continued improvement tells me they've been working. In this group of MS players, lights out shooter Truong is the lone 2019 while the other six are from the 2018 class. Rios sets defenders up well before taking them either way, Abram's athleticism lets her go where she pleases, plus that mid-range was looking nice and no matter what setting I see Thomas in, she knows how to put the ball in the basket

Allie Garza and Ariana Taylor showed a lot of potential, Garza understands the game and has good fundamentals while Taylor's drive during the camp showed me she will do nothing but continue to improve. Shae Routt, well  she's sort a hot commodity and it's only the beginning as she and Truong made the Tip Sheet
