2014's from 2013 #TXFallEliteCombine

I said Houston Westside might win district this season, they haven't since my daughter graduated in 2007, as Bellaire has controlled District 20. After watching several of Bellaire's players perform over the weekend, that task won't be as easy as I imagined. Eemani Thomas has been working and her physicality under the basket, on both ends, will create some problems. Angel Williams is an offensive machine, she actually made the Tip Sheet from the camp, as well as Jaylan Robinson and Ope Ibrahim , read more

Lola Adegoke is physical and athletic, she created problems on defense as she altered shots in bunches. Alyssa Munoz is a player you don't want to turn your back on, she showed she could handle the ball and score from both mid and long range, the same can be said from Kristel Reid. Tenea Johnson, Taylor James and Megan Perry were consistent on their 15 footers, James and Perry success doing that during the season will be pluses for their school teams as both try and make runs.

Speaking of making runs, Adriana Wooten no matter what the setting, just won't stop and her energy level will play a big role in how Hightower does. She's an excellent defender that can also score but Faith Ohanta's performance in both events tells me Bush just may be in the drivers seat. Ohanta and Ibrahim simply outwork opponents in the paint and when you have a duo that's both scoring and rebounding like that.............  As the suspense builds, this season is going to probably go, well #downtothewire
