The National Champions banner was dropped as well as the #9 Louisville Cardinals on Tuesday night as the new look Aggies showed signs of brilliance in spots and made it clear that they are ready to take on whatever challenges this season brings after losing Danielle Adams, Sydney Colson, Maryann Baker and Catherine Snow.
Kelsey Bone, Tyra White and Sydney Carter all scored in double figures while Adrianne Pratcher and Alexia Standish did a great job at the point but the improvement from both Karla Gilbert and Adoara Elonu will play a big part in how well the Aggies do this season. Louisville was missing three players, including All American candidate Shonni Schimmel so this wasn't really a #6 vs #9 match-up but it was a good win
Not only did Snow, above with father and fiance, receive her NC ring, she was proposed to and accepted on center court last night in what proved to be the true surprise of the evening.
