GPR's Fantastic Friday Player-Monique Bedford

This may be the only time I ever do this however Mo Bedford deserves this. Before I set the stage, let me tell you that anytime you go play at Bellaire, it's going to be a fight and winning there has proved to be almost impossible over the last few seasons. North Shore came in with a freshman point guard who I told you would be initiated to big time players off of the top and they also brought in Courtney Williams, the player I consider the area best. Bedford has been playing alongside Courtney for well forever and this Dynamic Duo has had their share of ups and down however Mighty Mo had no problem playing "Robin" to Courtney's "Batman". Those who have not given her the props she deserves now realize she is a legit D1 player.

Williams went down in the second quarter and never returned as "Da Shore" went into the half down 38-34.  Anyone in the right mind would have assumed this would be a complete disaster, however one thing I always says is sometimes there is no logic in this game, especially when you have a player that can go off, and Bedford went completely off dropping 30 in a 68-67 loss. To get out of here, North Shore will need Williams and nothing will change that fact but again, Bedford shows she can play under the bright lights and in a sweat box!
