Last season, The Woodlands and Dekaney were two of the top three area teams in Region 2 however this season they are the top two and two of the reasons why have decided which college they plan on continuing their academic and athletic careers. Paige Bradley was primarily known as a three point specialist however that has changed as over the course of the last few seasons. Her skills and leadership will move on to the University of Denver after The Woodlands make another run at Austin
Shunta Nevitt has been one of the reasons Dekaney has emerged as a legitimate contender and with her being 6'0 and able to score inside and out, those qualities should work out well at Texas Tech on her next stop. Both players will be vital to their teams success in what will be another interesting season in the Houston area.
