Ganon Baker finished up his week in Houston with an Invitational Only Camp and although some of the stars from last night pulled a double as they were here again, there was talent galore in attendance as they were joined by GPR #1 area player Courtney Williams, the three young ladies who turned Klein Forest completely around, Ekiya Gray, Ebony Parker and Regina Scott and several players about to enter high school including Adrianna Jackson, Khayla Mitchell and Brynae Thompson
Ganon also had former NBA great Thomas Henderson in attendance, Henderson is Gray's grandfather and I always treasure my conversations with him and today was no different as all of us discussed the changes we have seen in the game
Odyssey Williams, Courtney's dad, always keeps me in the loop and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have known one of Houston's early McDonald All Americans, Jerald Brown was in attendance. Brown put on a shooting exhibition and is now an assistant coach at St. Thomas University
Another "Big Three" showed up from one of my favorites to get out of Region 3. Brooke Mc Carty and JoAnn Lira were back from last night and they were joined by silky smooth Courtney Latham and if this guard heavy team stays healthy, well keep watching. Players, players, players! Anything you wanted to see was out at one of these camps. More to come so stay cool!
