Wait is over for Roshunda Johnson

Roshunda Johnson had the opportunity to do something many young ladies don't get to do and that's play on one of the top high school teams and also one of the top club teams. After starring for Parkview High School for four years, Johnson would spend the summer playing for DFW Elite where she quickly became noticed on a national stage and finished her career as one of the Top 50 players in the country along with being one of the top guards.

With numerous offers on the table, Johnson has been quite busy after this years club season ended and made several trips but this weekend she decided Oklahoma State was the right fit for her.

Johnson was recruited by the Cowgirls for quite some time however this visit was special." The players welcomed her with open arms and really made her feel wanted" said mom Kesha Thompson "and that sealed the deal". What the Cowgirls are getting is a young lady that can play both guard spots and a player that will step in and pay dividends immediately.
