2018 Ott marks the spot #GPRUnderTheRadar
When you're 5'10 and can score the way Jordan Ott showed me she could score from the outside a little three years ago, there was no doubt in my mind that D1 schools would definitely be showing plenty of interest because as I've told you numerous times, college coaches LOVE big guards that can shoot but over the years, this young lady has put in plenty of work on adding a variety of offensive moves as well as rebounding and defensive improvement to her repertoire
Okay I was right about her being a lock but when you starting extra ingredients to the formula, well teams from major conferences are all over this young lady as she approaches her final club season with Cy Fair Premier. I'm tired of talking, well typing so check the video out and there will be more to come

'18 Ott continues to hit spot #GPRUnderTheRadar
Jordan Ott is a big guard that can shoot it from all over the court at a very high percentage and that could be enough right there to land her a D1 scholarship but she's not a settler, oh no, Ott continues to elevate her game and impress people along the way, including a variety of college coaches across the country
The talented 2018 has picked up offers from the Big 12 and SEC to name a few but that in itself should grab your attention as she opens up July at the Big State Flava Jam and then ASGR in Las Vegas with Cy Fair Premier

Sophomore Ott continues to stay hot
A healthy Jordan Ott is what caught my eye in what seems like an eternity ago but the Lake Travis sophomore continues to blossom in her second full season of varsity. Big guards that can score are always going to be a premium and this talented young lady is one of the top players in Texas 2018 class, check out her video

Lake Travis impressive in win over Legacy Christian #GirlsTXJamboree
Lake Travis was without their leading scorer, Aspen Howie, while Beaumont Legacy Christian was without Alexis Morris, one of the top players in the 2017 class who happened to make the USA team so I was thinking based on who the Cavaliers had, this would get ugly quick after seeing Legacy Christian last season. To be honest, this was a good game even though Lake Travis rotated everyone in evenly they won 45-34, Mandy Karako is a nightmare to guard, she led all scorers with 15, Nikkie and Natalie Paxton as well as Kaylie Kirkpatrick are all solid players and I'd love to see them with their full roster but I was also pleased with the continuous progression from Jordan Ott who made the Under The Radar Tip Sheet

Even though Morris was missing, I enjoyed Jean'Na McClelland operating on the floor, she led her squad with 14 while Marli Lemons and Alex Westbrook brought some heat. Danielle Soileua is athletic and long, plus she's close to "the magic number" and with her wingspan she's definitely over six feet. Allura Wilkes is one of those players I had to find out what their name was since she did a few things that definitely caught my eye. When I found out she too was a freshman, that was simply icing on the cake as her upside and potential definitely have her on my radar
Under The Radar stars shine in #GirlsTXJamboree

Jordan Ott
Although the weather was ugly outside, the talent made up for it inside at Westbury Christian High School where the Girls Texas Jamboree was held. I'll break down each of the five games, I saw enough of Bellaire in the fifth game to know that right now they're the best team in HISD and when they get back to full strength, add them to the list of legitimate contenders to represent R3 6A
Right now, I'll give you an UNDER THE RADAR Tip Sheet

Madison and Mikayla Schenck
2016
Madison Schenck (SATCH) at six feet, she simply does so many things well on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. She makes smart decisions, can handle the ball under pressure in the open court and can hit the mid and long range with ease. The UNSIGNED senior is a steal, this young lady keeps adding to her game and won't quit on you
Marissa Banfield

Tia Tolbert
2018
Tia Tolbert (Cy Springs) Tolbert's aggressiveness on both ends keeps getting better, I saw that begin to improve over the summer however I'm loving her ability to create off the dribble and finish strong taking contact. Mid and long range, check and double check. Perimeter defense has gotten better, in fact she loves playing it
Mikayla Schenck (SATCH) Watching this young lady in the open court is blowing me away, well that and her NBA range but what I like even more about what she's improving on, no it's playing the passing lanes, it's her ability to set defenders up to take them off the dribble and with her length and ability to catch and shoot......
Jordan Ott (Lake Travis) One of my favorite players to see before I actually saw her live. I caught a glimpse of Ott in a video and I was scratching my head and over the past two seasons, she's gone from just being good to really good and on the verge of taking it even further. Great size, she knows how to score and when to score and creates match-up problems galore

'18 Jordan Ott off and running in July #UnderTheRadar
Jordan Ott is on the verge of exploding and even though she's caught the eyes of several college coaches before scoring her first high school basket at Lake Travis, she's been on a tear this season and what better way to come off of a fantastic University of Kansas trip than to be under the bright lights for Cy Fair Premier White at Super 64 to start off July
What rhymes with Ott, well the first thing I can thing of is HOT so you better get on this kid early, trust me

Cy Fair Premier Blue runner-up #Hoopfest WNBA Blue
Cy Fair Premier has an abundance of talent on both teams and the Blue squad certainly joins White with of the states best. Jordan Ott has shown me a lot in a very short time, good body and IQ and once she gets going, she's hard to contain. Miranda Ramsey and Haley Johnson have both made big jumps over last season yet their desire simply shows me they aren't done. Another jump is from Keaton Sayers, a young lady I saw in middle school that simply blew me away and she along with Alyce Fields. On the downside, I didn't get to see Emer Nichols, a 6'4 post that showed me range last season but she'll be back soon
Sierra Cheetam's length and ability to score has college coaches drooling with anticipation on her upside while JoAnne Taylor's mindset is you simply can't stop her and with an improved mid and long range game, her mind ain't playing tricks on her. I think I first mentioned Mackenzie Green being on the scene when she was in the 5th grader but remember that name as she joins the list of top 2019 players in the state. Cydney Rivera has catapulted her way to one of the states top freshmen and the Tip Sheet sort of gives you a clue

'18 Ott returns tonight for Lake Travis #UnderTheRadar
There were several stars that shined bright over the summer that I had to chance to see before they entered their first year of high school and among those that shined the brightest was Jordan Ott. Her name preceded her game, I had to see just what the buzz was about and was pleasantly pleased to say the least after catching her the first time for a few minutes. The second time I saw her, it was a little but more in depth as she showed me a variety of things she could do and that sealed everything. Ott's freshman season was slowed by a knee injury however as Rod Stewart sang, Tonight's The Night as she suits up for Lake Travis varsity and I'll be keeping you updated

'18 Ott joins other stars at Texas over the weekend
Jordan Ott made a huge jump this past summer and that elevation continues as she on campus at the University of Texas taking an unofficial. As I glance through the picture, I see '20 Deja Kelly, '17 Chasity Patterson and '16 Amber Ramirez along committed players '15 Lashaan Higgs and '18 Shae Routt
Ott will be doing some huge things at Lake Travis this season and you'll be hearing more down the road

'18 Ott keeps moving up spots
I am going to figure out a way to see Lake Travis this season and one of the main reasons is Under The Radar star Jordan Ott. The gifted guard showed me she was ore than a next level player after a couple of minutes and with the letters and offers she has received before playing her first high school game, well that speaks volumes in itself. Smart and skilled, Ott knows the deal as she can score multiple ways but we'll bring you more as the season progresses

'18 Ott ready to jump into things
Jordan Ott has yet to score her first high school basket but D1 schools already know who she is and after the She's Ballin Extravaganza last month, so did I. This young lady falls into the "scorer" category which simply means she knows and finds ways to put the ball in the basket. I've said that about several players over the years, most recent Cori Schnell, who I'm hearing just went off at Boo for DFW Elite and based on my first glimpse of Ott, I'm predicting she'll be bringing some magic along the way as well
I didn't see Jordan this weekend, I'll be catching up with her later this club season and throughout her HS career but all I can say is trust me, you'll see what I already know

Ott one of several for NT United at #SBEX
Didn't really need a roster for NT United 2018 to figure out who Jordan Ott was after hearing about the numbers she was putting up. Skilled and smart are always a big help, nice midrange and anticipates well while also being able to handle the ball under pressure. The roster did help with their other players however and this young team has some talent with plenty of potential. Sydney Brock was a beast on the block, early morning rhyme to get me going. Doesn't take much too get Brock going, she's ready when she steps on the court and with her strength, she's going to be someone to reckon with. Ci Ci McCalain and Julie Shalkowski are names you may want to jot down as well. McClain has excellent timing and finished well, Shalowski at 6'2 and in middle school says it all right there

Young stars on list at #SBEX and send in your rosters
I caught 2019 Endiya Rogers year before last by accident as she was just dribbling the ball through the crowd at Big State Flava Jam however just by watching her handle the ball, I kind of figured something was up. Last season, I saw exactly what was up at Prime Time Nationals and I can't wait to see her and her DFW Elite teammates in action today against '18 standout Jordan Ott and NT Umited
