Sandra Meadows Classic-Westside vs Fayetville, AR

Westside won the Sandra Meadows Tournament back in 2006, Fayetville did the same in 2008 so the battle was set to begin. The battle never really evolved as Fayetville won the game with ease, Westsides biggest problem continues to be inconsistency on offense. Last years Region 3 Final Four team has done well so far this season, winning the HISD Championship, runner-up in the Spring Branch Championship and Elite 8 here at SMC, not bad, but again if they hope to get where they got last season, tey will have to score. Arkansas signee Cali Berna, #14, was everywhere for Fayetville. She the straw that stirs the drink on that team and the buzz I was hearing about her is true.

Sandra Meadows Classic-Bellaire vs Rockwall

After being one game from  Austin last season, Bellaire has had a rough year, starting with a season opening blowout against Elsik. Since then, they've been in a lot of games against quality teams but just haven't made it over the hump. Can they make a nother run? I believe so and all of this will be forgotten if they do. Rockwall looked impressive, maybe not like the state contender teams but they looked awfully good. Speaking of the state teams, they have Haley's Days cousin, Morghen #5, on the current one and she was impressive, as well as others like Hanna Hughes and Alyssa Lang

Sandra Meadows Classic-Westbury Christian vs Mesquite Horn

Bri for the alley-oop from Silky and hanging with my buddy Jerry Simmons made my day!

Sandra Meadows Classic-Kempner vs THESA

This was my first look at Kempner. With two of the areas top sophomores, Alex Laperoyle and Kianna Ingram plus a solid year from junior, Anita Kadura, this team has pulled off some quality wins as they hope to make a run and get into the playoffs. They had to go against one of the top players in the country, Moriah Jefferson and THESA and they hung in there for most of the game
