Super Cooper not only Georgia star at #4040JohnLucas

TYLER COLLINS, CARIA REYNOLDS & TAYLOR SUTTON

Te'a Cooper wasn't the only player from Georgia that put on a show, the 2018 duo of Tyler Collins and Taylor Sutton sold me a few months ago at the 60/60 and let me say this, their mailboxes will stay full over the course of their young careers but they weren't alone as trio of other young ladies joined them on my must see list for the future. With Collins and Sutton both at the same school, well that's reason enough for a road trip and should they play Norcross, well that might be a locck-Hampton, GA

2017

Vashnie Perry-5'6 guard-Norcross, GA (Norcross HS) I love speedy guards especially when they're speedy with the ball and Perry simply made things happen on both ends of the floor. She showed she could get to wherever she wanted and usually that was blowing by defenders to the basket

2018

Jenna Brown-5'9 guard-Marietta, GA (Marietta HS) Brown did a number of things well as she joined the guard group that could attack almost against anyone and finish. She handled the ball well under pressure and even more importantly saw the floor well

Taylor Mason-5'8 guard-Decatur, GA (Norcross HS) Mason has the ability to overpower guards, smaller and bigger and her strength enabled her to go coast to coast for numerous baskets while taking  contact. She also showed she could get her teammates involved

Caria Reynolds-5'10 forward-Stone Mountain, GA (Greater Atlanta Christian School) This young lady showed a lot of poise and composure and was one of the players that excelled in the drills. She also showed her strength as she battled on both ends in the paint and finished strong

Tyler Collins-5'5 guard-Fayetville, GA (Woodward Academy) Collins keeps climbing up the charts and the phrase about big things in small packages certainly fits. Collins can flat out play, her mindset is she doesn't care who she goes up against and her ability to score, defend and get her teammates involved will have her on numerous short lists for colleges

Taylor Sutton-5'6 guard-Hampton, GA (Woodward Academy) Sutton had a big S on her shirt, don't know if it meant Sutton or Super but either way it fits. What she brings to the table is almost indescribable as she simply makes things happen whether she scores or not, which she can and when you have that type of impact, well.......

Collins and Sutton are #TipSheetLocks from #4040JohnLucas

Tyler Collins and Taylor Sutton both give it there all like it wasn't nothing. Okay not my best rhyme but hey, I got time because the grade they're in is number 9. Collins and Sutton impressed me a few months ago at the 60/60 and when you add 40/40 you know you got the double hundred.

Tip Sheets are coming but first, let's revisit

John Lucas 60/60 Combine warms up Bob Knight Fieldhouse on opening day

The good thing about camps is that younger players can gauge themselves against other players across the state. I've always promoted players going out and see other talent because you may be the best on your school team, in your district or even city, but Texas is a very big state. With that being said, when you attend an event ran by John Lucas, rest assured you'll be measured against talented players from across the country. Tyler Collins and Taylor Sutton came all the way from Georgia, Oregon had 15 players, Alaska, Washington, Louisiana, Colorado, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana all had multiple players attending and the talent was definitely mind boggling at times

The young ladies from Elevate New Orleans blew me away at John Lucas All Star Weekend three weeks ago and this time they were minus Kourtney Weber, but nothing has changed, they are legit and even more than I thought

Kalin Smith and Kaylor Coleman have Rayven Patin sandwiched. Both showed a lot of potential and the 2018 Under The Radar Patin already had sold me on her having next level potential during the same All Star Weekend event however from what I saw today, her potential will take her way up the ladder. I'll bring you more on the out of state young ladies, they all were impressive and the memory of Sutton going behind her back with the ball, while in the air, and somehow reversing the ball back for a backhanded lay-up will be forever embedded in my mind

Stay tuned, clocks move up and I'll be moving out

#AutoAwesome TNT ready for 40/40

Two of the show stoppers, scene stealers and simply players that brought the "it" factor to the John Lucas 60/60 Camp will be on hand at the 40/40. 2018 points Tyler Collins and Taylor Sutton are both from Georgia and will be attending Woodward Academy in Atlanta, road trip already being planned

#4040John Lucas had a little bit of everything

I can understand the enthusiasm from the mothers of Tyler Collins and Taylor Sutton, yes the Tip Sheets are coming ladies

These young ladies from the D1 Shooters day was completed after meeting John Lucas, it's a lock, those 2020 stars will be here next season

I love meeting new people, well most of the time but meeting Toi Baylor (Baylor Basketball) was definitely a plus

You have to have someone who can Pass Tha Ball folks and also put it together on video as well as the pic below

Girls against guys help close out day two of #JLE6060

Zay Green is one of the top 2018 players in the country and she has shown me so much in the short time I've watched her over the past I guess three seasons

Not only does she hold the record for most off balance shots made from various angles that  aren't even supposed to be possible, 2018 Zarielle Green was even more amazing as she went against the guys during one on one full court drills at the John Lucas 60/60 Combine. The 6'0 foot Green almost pinned a 6'4 guy's shot on the backboard on the defensive end and on the way back down drained a 15 footer

Taylor Sutton and Tyler Collins, both from Georgia and both from the 2018 were Tip Sheet locks before they put on dazzling ball-handling moves, head fakes and baskets against the guys and let me not forget 2020 Deja Kelly going at the guys and more than holding her own, but after all she is the Tip Sheet queen. Stories, Tip Sheets, simmiaries, same as summaries, all coming over the next few days so be ready because when I bring it to you...............
