GPR get's the job done!!!!!

It never ceases to amaze me when people call or come up to me and say they need help. I explain that my time is valuable and there is a fee involved because when you look at the travel you've paid over the years, the training hours, club fees or whatever else is associated with what you're trying to do as far as getting your daughter as many options as possible to play at the next level and nothing has happened, well the most important thing is playing at the next level, hopefully for free or as close to free as possible right

Parents have told me, yeah but I already paid ABC this or that or I've paid someone with name recognition and I respond well that's who you need to be talking to and where are they watching your daughter play because, uhhh, that's kind of what I'm out here doing. Year after year, people are fooled and the old "bait and switch" works a number of ways and as far as recruiting services, some are just sending out thousands of letter telling lie after lie which is one thing I won't do which I why I have to believe I can truly help and when you have over a 90% rate of helping kids get more, well let me pat my self on the back

Alexis "The Great" ready for comeback

What determines great as far as basketball? Well for me to say things like one of the best I've seen, can't miss and someone I'd actually play to watch several things go into the equation and averaging 20 points a game does not necessarily mean you're great nor scoring 40 in a game, always remember "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against"

Alexis Jones is a player that was worth probably close to 20 points per game for both Irving Macarthur and her club team without scoring a basket and that falls into the category of her making her teammates better. Don't get me wrong, she could also simply take games over and even more importantly, take them over in the flow and if you don't know, well you just don't know

Marissa @passthaball has put together yet another dynamic video on Jones and her recovery from a knee injury

Super weekend in H-Town coming up as #TheLastRun and CyFairFallClassic tip-off

Last week I got a little confused regarding the new alignment and I mentioned repeating in 5A, well that happens when you celebrate your birthday the majority of the month. Although I'm almost back to normal, well my normal, one thing I'm definitely not confused about is the high energy coming this weekend from The Last Run hosted by John Lucas and the Cy Fair Shock's  Cy Fair Fall Classic.

I already know some of the teams that will be on hand at The Last Run, I've mentioned the Pearland Hawks players numerous times but one of the region's contenders, Hightower, will also be on hand and even though Under The Radar Unique Finley won't be back just yet, the Hurricanes are in a "UNIQUE" situation as they have to be one of the favorites to not only win district but make "The Last Run" to Austin, ooops, did it again, San Antonio

Here's the deal and this is what's really important to me. All day Saturday, I'll be at Legends covering The Last Run and all day Sunday, I'll be at Cy Woods covering The Fall Classic. My thoughts will be coming fro both so stay tuned

'15 sharpshooter Thompson bringing excitement to #TheLastRun

I considered Clear Lake's Torrie Thompson one of the biggest surprises I ran across last season and the Under The Radar guard also turned out to be on of the most consistent scorers In caught in Texas combining both the high school and club seasons together. Thompson can take defenders off the dribble, both from the left and the right while scoring with either hand not to mention knocking down the mid and long range shots with ease

Throw into the equation that she's a hard nosed defender that can guard baseline to baseline and when it comes to ball handling and seeing the floor, she passes both with flying colors. The very, very talented senior will be playing with the Pearland Hawks at John Lucas' The Last Run which I'll be covering all day Saturday. Here's a little on Double T courtesy of Marissa from PTB

R-3 with a chance to repeat as 5A state champs oops I forgot new 6A

I'm glancing around the area and I've just adjusted my ranking after learning about who's where, Charli Collier is at Barbers Hill which gives then a very good chance of getting out of R-4 and dropping Cy Fair out of the initial Top 10 because the Woods sisters are now at Lutheran North but that can change based on how everything falls into place.

What hasn't changed is the fact that I'm sticking with North Shore and Cy Ranch as being preseaon favorites as Chastity Patterson and Deauzya Richards both have the supporting players on their teams, providing everyone stays healthy, to get out of here.

Keep in mind the teams with the most talent don't always get out of their regions nor win state, that's been proven time and time again and remember you only have to be the best team that particular game in the playoffs.

With Manvel winning state, history can be made as no R-3 team has ever won back to back state titles and even more surprisingly since the Houston area has produced champions from both region's 2 and 3, no area team has won it back to back

Remember the more the better

As the Under The Radar lists continues to drop for the 2015 class, remember the key is to maximize the players exposure. Everyone is not a "can't miss" however too many people believe that they might have one yet if the opportunities are not on the table.......

I post this over and over, some people understand but parents there are talented players everywhere in the country, it's as simple as that and the vast majority of players need some additional help fro someone that actually watches the players and not try and pull the old "bait and switch" on you

Is there a fee, yes there is and if you pay to play, travel and train and the most important thing is playing at the next level and having options on where you'll be playing, well

'16 Panetti with Pearland Hawks for #TheLastRun

Brittany Panetti started off the season on my Under The Radar list however based on the contacts and literature, oh yeah, and OFFERS on the table, the 6'2 junior needs radar to keep up with who wants her now. Hey, she already has gone against some of the nationally ranked players her size and let's just say she did more hold her own but watching this young lady drain 3 three's back in June at the Texas A&M Elite Team Camp with her Katy Rebels club team simply blew me away

Panetti will be one of the highlights at The Last Run next weekend as she joins fellow GPR Under The Radar players '15 Torrie Thompson and '17 Jade Leblanc-Ernest on the Pearland Hawks and I'll be there for DAY 1 coverage

Always remember where I will be can be accessed on the girlzprepreport.com website under
