GBB action for tonight 12/3

Brooke Jolivette is all smiles as she and her Kingwood teammates have been making some noise this season jumping out to a 9-3 record. Tonight they host District 13 rival Atascocita, who recently defeated Dekaney, while Kingwood is coming off of a loss to Klein Forest. It's becoming apparent that "The Taz" is for real so it's going to go #downtothewire for playoff positioning

Also in D-13, Spring travels to Klein Collins, KC defeated Spring in the CISD Tournament championship and each are trying to push Kingwood for possibly that final playoff spot

Here's the list of tonight's games, hopefully it's correct

Rosharon's Daniela Perdoma confirmed for December 15th

You always know I'm looking for hidden talent, sort of like those guys on those reality show that travel across the country trying to find priceless items, well I consider myself like that only my expertise covers GBB. I haven't seen Daniela Perdoma yet however I know two tings, she's young, from the 2020 class, and she has time. Well three things, she'll be another area player traveling to Duncanville for the Hoop-A-Holics Camp December 15th at the Bobby Knight Fieldhouse. Making the trip deserves a s/o and I'm becoming even more eager to see some of the best players go against each other

Gregory on point for HISD Tournament

Sophomore Sentreal Gregory is coming into her own this season and here's a young lady I knew before she was born, if you understand what that means, please tell me because old people used to tell me that. Actually I do know what it means, I watched her old sister star in high school back in the day, read more

Gregory is coming off of a 27 point outburst last week and the Westside Wolves are hoping to dethrone Bellaire as district champions, something they've won six seasons in a row and this weekend, they, along with Kincaid are the favorites in the HISD Tournament which has just been added

District 13 sending telepathic message

Reunited and they feels so good is how the Big Three from Klein Forest are probably feeling after their weekend victory over Kingwood. Keep inn mind that Dekaney has already lost to Atascocita so my saying that D-17 is the best in the area may be a little premature. Right now, advantage Simmie because Cy Woods did the unthinkable and defeated Dekaney for the FBISD championship

The four mentioned are probably in the drivers seat for a playoff spot however Klein Collins and Spring are riding shotgun, so we'll see how they plays out. KF's lone loss this season was to Cy Falls, but were going put an asterisk by that one because Regina Scott and Ebony Parker, two of their Big Three didn't play in the SBISD Tournament game, and the third, Ekiyah Gray, went out with leg cramps in the final two minutes of their 42-37 loss, it;s hard to win without Superman or key members of the Justice League, well Superwoman but you get it right

How about this one, Spring, Klein Colleins and Atascocita joing Klein Forest in the KISD Tournament, aka Katy Nike Classic , this weekend and GPR will have live coverage, well I'll be there and hopefully alive and not in spirit, all day Saturday

PS  I'll be in the zone the rest of the year for these tournaments and I'll tweet the scores if I have them, no phone service will be available on "The Now Network" so if you follow me NOW

Toughest district in area ready for war this weekend

Sophomore Rachel Tapps coming out party has been successful for Cy Ranch this season as the GPR Under The Radar performer definitely has her GPS  coordinates with several college coaches, especially after her performance in the FBISD Tournament. Tapps that showed she is more than a defensive stopper

Cy Ranch, Cy Falls, Cy Creek and Cy Ridge join a couple of surprise teams, Jersey Village and Langham Creek, from D-17 in the Katy Nike Classic

In the Peggy Whitley Classic, Cy Woods and Cy Fair are ready to operate and the amazing thing is the early success and promise many of these teams have shown so here are two questions.

Is it a toss up for district title and will the playoff race go #downtothewire and I believe the answer is the same for both

2019 Elizabeth Scott confirmed for Hoop-A-Holics Camp in Duncanville

Elizabeth Scott has already shown me she was heading to the next level and the more I watched her, the higher her upside became. She's around the magic number, that's six feet, and she's putting magic numbers on her 7th grade team but what really has me thinking "Great Scott" is that she will be at the Hoop A Holics camp December 15th at the Bobby Knight Fieldhouse in Duncanville

Early bird registration ends DECEMBER 6th

Cougars explode in second half against Panthers

University of Houston has an arsenal of weapons and after a slow start this season, it appears everything is falling into place. When I say arsenal, that means numerous players that can create problems and a couple from the Houston area had their turn against Prairie View

Tyler Gilbert almost had a double-double while Bianca Winslow put up double digits

Big week starts today for GPR

Manvel was runner-up in the Texas Invitational to #1 Duncanville, however they are still the team to beat in R3 and they will have a chance to prove just that in the Peggy Whitley Classic and I'll be there all day Friday

The big question in my head is how good is Atascocita. They beat district rival and defending champ Dekaney last week and could possibly avenge their only loss to a don't count em out Katy Taylor team in the Katy Nike Classic. I'll be covering that event all day Saturday

Today, doubleheader at Hofheinz for the David Jones Classic has SFA against Kent State at 1pm followed by the Cougars and PV at 3:30

Tuessday- HBU hosts UT Pan-American at 5:30

Thursday-Texas State at Tudor to take on Rice, 7pm

What about Monday? The Blacklist, 9 pm on NBC!!!!!!!
