This was just one of those games that had different chapters. Memorial jumped to a big lead, close to double digits in the opening quarter and went cold as Willowridge came back to tie it up after one. The game was n ot pretty by any means but the players from both teams continued to fight to bitter end and you're going to have games where the shots just won't fall, that's just the way it is.
Memorial has capable scorers in seniors Amy Alfeld and Jessie Ustick, I just saw them in the #SBISD Tournament and I've been watching them over the years, plus they just got some of their volleyball players back, including Courtney Slattery but nevertheless they were out of sync
Willowridge never gave up, Corine Harriss is the key and definitely unlocked the door, that's the good news however that door has them facing Bush later today which should be interesting
