Young star has bright, no VERY bright future ahead

I recall years ago making a bold and brash statement about an 8th grader being one of the best bigs in the state. The flack I took on message boards was unreal, either by folks who didn't know or comprehend what they were seeing or those who had agendas but I always call it like I see it and that players name was Nneka Ogwumike

Charli Collier is not Nneka but she's really, really good and at the same age, their games might seem somewhat similar but they are totally different. Collier is dominant in the paint but she also can face the basket and score and watching her handle the ball in the open court is a treat in itself

Whether she's able to dominate like Ogwumike did at her position throughout high school doesn't really matter, she's going to have colleges coming at her left and right. There was only one Nneka Ogwumike and there will probably be only one Charli Collier
