I had a chance to watch games from both the Memorial and Katy Fall Leagues and the best game by far was the one between Memorial and Kincaid. Memoria'sl starting 5 came out with a bang and they appear to be one of the teams that will be in the hunt when district rolls around. They were up on Kincaid by double digits when, add another name to the 2014 list, Brecca Thomas arrived and helped Kincaid not only catch up, but actually take the lead. In the video above, Thomas shows you why she can shoot the lights out, she actually did. Hey, it's on video. In "About This Blog", I mentioned 6th graders with jumpers, well that 6th grader is now a 9th grader and she is one of the smoothest players I have ever seen.
