Thompson's five threes help spark Cy Fair win

I almost went to another doubleheader however the more I thought about it, the more I knew I had to see Brynae Thompson play in her first playoff game for Cy Fair. Thompson helped make Jersey Village competitive the previous three seasons joined the Bobcats at a time when all seemed bleak with the departure of the Woods twins to Lutheran North. The Bobcats already had Angela Harris, one of the states top 2016 guards, how many times you want me to say it, as well as another exciting junior Kyler Wyatt along with sharpshooter Taylor Mc Cowan and all three, along with Thompson have scored 20 or more this season

The explosive Harris went off for 24 and played perhaps the most complete game I've seen her play this season as she was playing the passing lanes, defending and scoring in the flow while getting her teammates involved because folks when you go to war, you better have plenty of weapons loaded and this time of season is definitely a battle

Thompson dropped 21, McCowann had to be close to double digits and Wyatt, who was slowed by an ankle sprain, still was one of the fastest players on the floor and just created some issues on both ends. Big ups to Olivia Noah who simply was key in so many areas that don't show up in the box score and if they play on Thursday and defeat Westside with her being key, that would be another Olivia to watch #Gladiators

Alacharon King closed out her illustrious career at Nimitz with 20 while Jakyra Piggott added 14
