I caught Jessica Murcer at Prime Time Nationals last season
and the 2018 guard had me fixated on whatever court she happened to be playing
on. Murcer simply did a little bit everything and her speed and energy left me
speechless at times but one thing is for certain, I was looking at a talented
young lady.
She is a freshman at Westmoore High School in Moore, OK.
Jessi is leading her team in scoring averaging 17.5 points per game. The team
is currently ranked 4th in 6A with an 18-3 record. This is Westmoore’s best
record and highest ranking in 13 years. They finished last season ranked 18th.
Her team returned 4 starters from last year. Jess is the only new starter this
