Ever since the GBB fourth place teams were allowed to participate in the state playoffs, there have been some that actually beat division winners in the opening round. I'm almost certain this has happened every season in the area but I know it's happened throughout the state. Cy Ranch is in position to do that again as they will face either Memorial or Aldine Davis next week, the latter two play this evening at Davis to determine who the district winner is at 5:30
The advantage Ranch has is that they play in the toughest district and although they've been decimated by injuries back to back seasons, the good news is that Rachel Tapps is back and will add even more firepower to the club. Needless to say, this is a GPR must see first round game in the making
