Coach Craig Pennamon was involved in GBB before me and the one thing I got from him before the turn of the century is he preached t his players about having a good work ethic and made sure he only had players that were coachable.. In what seems like eons ago, the message remains the same and after watching the improvement his squad made this past weekend after just seeing them two weeks ago let's me know the message has been received
Just the pictures alone show you the athleticism but this is one of those teams I could watch after being up all night because they absolutely bring the heat which trickles off throughout the team. Add Rexesha Hollis as another area 2016 player that will make plenty of noise before it's all said and done. She's athletic, acrobatic and can score, like a variety of ways. She also does something else I love to see, anticipate the pass and it's off to the races. Tavia Marshall has body control to go along with a solid frame and showed she was hard to handle. Want some height? 6'1 freshman Makeedah Collins just elevates over everyone for rebounds and add her to the ULTRA athletic list..
