From opening night Friday until late Sunday evening, I had a chance to see some of the top players not just in the state, but the country as well. Weekend after weekend I'm on the grind and Texas continues to roll out talent year after year, season after season and class after class. Cy Fair Nike Elite put on a shooting exhibition on opening night as at least seven players hit three pointers and the ones who didn't have the ability to do just that, which is scary
On Saturday night, their rematch against DFW T-Jack came down to just that, the three and none were more important than Kenny Leonard nailing them back to back down the stretch for the victory. Both teams are battled tested as they get ready for center stage in Virginia at Boo Williams but until then, you have me to offer you some insight on what I saw from not only the Texas players, but some entertaining out of town guests as well
