McNeese State has won the Southland Conference Tournament twice and now the Cowgirls are one game away from yet another final as they take on No. 1 seed Oral Roberts today at 11am. Their high powered offense has been fueled by several players and it seems like after Ashlyn Baggett gets them going, everything else falls into place and if you look at the first two games of the tournament, you will see that they are averaging a 17 point margin of victory in those two wins.
They've already defeated Oral Roberts twice this season, a 72-71 squeaker on the the road and a very close 76-71 victory at home, but this one that counts. I haven't seen ORU but I know the Cowgirls can score in bunches so I'm ready for another exciting day in Katy.
