Watching Kristin Mahoney as a seventh grader immediately comes back to me as I could tell the young lady understood certain parts of the game and never made the same mistakes twice. Over the years she has continued to develop into not only next level player but one who has shown she has a great deal of upside in the right system. Even though she hurt her knee last summer, she's not only healthy but she's gotten stronger and quicker and was a key part of The Woodlands successful season.
Is she "Under The Radar"? Yes, but I doubt seriously if she'll stay that way with the 2013 Cy Fair Platinum squad. I'll see Mahoney at the DFW March Fest this weekend, along with the Insiders Hoopfest and Cy Fair Invitational before she heads to Boo Williams
