I posed a question before the season about Cy Woods and how losing 40% of their offense from one player. Jennifer Nash (Nichols State), would hurt their chances. Sometimes you have chemistry issues which go into the equation but from the looks of it, this team may wind up being a spoiler. The two youngest Ogwumike's have entered the scene, Olivia last season and Erica this season. People often try and compare these young ladies to Nneka and Chiney however Nneka and Chiney are totally different type players as are their younger sisters. As far as the missing offense, Justice Crisp, Audrey Garcia and Erica have picked up the slack while Olivia and Camille Williams (Concordia) were in volleyball. The season is young however Cy Woods is showing they will be in the mix, a 64-61 loss to Katy Taylor sets up a potential rematch on Friday in the Fort Bend ISD Tournament.
