Nothing like nagging injuries at the wrong time and combo guard Lauren O'Connell has definitely had her share of them. One thing that impressed this young lady initially was her ability to shoot the long ball, this was even before high school and let me say she has turned out to be a complete player, especially on the offensive end as her ability to catch and shoot with accuracy, hit the midrange consistently and take defenders off the dribble have all continued to go up
O'Connell was averaging over 22 ppg prior to injury, she's still around 20 and when you factor in she put up 30 in three consecutive games, this alone tells you she's a more than capable scorer. Lauren teams up with another GPR Under The Radar player, 6'0 Beth Hawkins, who is closing out her career with a bang.
