Cy Fair actually was my pic to not only win district but R-3 however after I found out the Woods sisters had transferred, that changed the complexion of everything. School's motto is Bobcat Fight Never Dies and since I've been watching girl's basketball in the area, no team has made runs with multiple combinations than Cy Fair and although Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike definitely left their mark with state titles, this seasons team has the making of being exciting
Transfer Brynae Thompson (Northwestern State) adds even more firepower to the talented squad led by seniors Taylor McCowan and juniors Angela Harris and Kyler Wyatt. They open the season on the road against College Park but I will see them next week at the TI minus Tiny, aka Texas Invitational where we will all get to see some exciting talent
