ABOUT ME

My photo
sim111
I have been involved in Texas Girl's Basketball since the turn of the century, first as a club coach and now as a writer that also evaluates players for my scouting service. I have contributed stories to several media outlets in the city, state and country in fact after going off on "those in power" Texas finally started getting national recognition. I also have a daughter that was fortunate enough to play at the next level where she was an All American, both in HS and college, won a National Championship at Texas A&M, made it to the WNBA and she became the first player from Houston to accomplish all of those combined. One of my favorite quotes "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against" is a close second to another "talent is everywhere" so I'm always looking for "that" player

About this Blog

What started off a project of mine to help get players more recognition and exposure has turned into something larger than I imagined. I find out year after year a lot of players are still unknown to college coaches while many parents don't understand a lot of things, such as the recruiting process or how this stuff really works. This is why I expanded what I do to not only offer a scouting service for college coaches but also a consulting service for parents.

Sydney' s Highlights

I always tell people never worry about rankings, idiots had my daughter ranked 267 at the guard spot because they hadn't seen her, allegedly, but over100 D1 offers, a National CHAMPIONSHIP and the WNBA, guess who was and always will be right, ME !!!! pic.twitter.com/0Wk0V3cGRZ
