Cortnei Purnell has done what so many players have done after a knee injury and that's come back to play. What she has done since coming back a couple of seasons ago is expand her game and this has enabled this 5'11 senior to do some remarkable things in a variety of ways and the thing that she is most proud of is helping lead her team to their best record ever and first ever playoff win over Brazosport 46-25. In that game, Miss Double-Double scored 16 points while pulling down 10 rebounds to go along with 5 blocks. This falls along the line of what she's been averaging over the season and their Valentine's Day game against Wheatley at Hobson should be interesting.
